So what goes into
TREEGLOO products?
Precision Milled and Designed
While others use computer guided machines to build their frames, essentially pressing a button and walking away, we take the time to hand craft each frame to the correct size and to showcase our signature port reliefs. Every step in the frame building process has the touch of our craftsmen.
Functional Ports
All of the port reliefs on our frames are designed to access all of the device's buttons and charging ports, as well as provide an aesthetically pleasing finish. Our signature reverse side port for the iPad 2 guides the hand into a smooth ledge to easily use the rocker and lock buttons. The power button port provides direct access to the iPad's sleep button while maintaining the integrity of the frame ledge. This prevents the book from warping across a void when the elastic band is in place.
Lock Miter Frame
Our frames are built with an advanced joinery technique called a Lock Miter. This process can only be achieved by crafting each frame by hand, and is used by other craftsmen for high-end humidors, furniture, and jewelry boxes. As well as showcasing an intricate pattern in each corner, this design is specifically used for strength and to virtually eliminates wood's natural tendency to expand and contract, creating a fitment that will hold securely.
Smart Cover
All of our iPad 2 cases come standard with the sleep/wake function. This feature is only available on the iPad 2.
Aluminum Camera Port
To add a touch of class over a simple hole in the back of your case, our camera port utilizes a brushed aluminum bezel for a distinct look on the outside of the case. A rubber grommet cleanly finishes the inside of the frame to help catch dust particles.
Magnetic
Our Magnetic latch or the iPad 2 is a strapless case option. Strong rare earth magnets firmly clamp to the iPad 2, keeping the front cover flat and closed.
Kinetic
The Kinetic Latch is a Treegloo exclusive closure option, which utilizes a two-stage side latch. The first stage keeps the book closed, and the latch can be extended to securely lock the case in landscape mode for either video viewing or for an ideal typing angle.
Rubber
The rubber used in our frames is a flexible, compressible composite that is permanently adhered to the inside of the frame via a specially engineered adhesive. This virtually eliminates failures and loosening of the bond over time.
Accents
Our microfiber suede accents are tailor made by hand for each frame's design. The accent is more than an elegant touch to our frames; it also holds the iPad around the entire perimeter for a superior fit.
Materials
As the original source for multiple iPad case options, we maintain our outlook on sustainability and responsibility. Our soft faux leather covers emulate the feeling of luxury leather, and are superior to bonded leather in look and feel.
Our Classic liners are FSC, GreenSeal, and Carbon Neutral Certified. All Cloth liners are made in house with recyclable materials, in a method similar to Italian bookcloth.
We use formaldehyde-free, FSC certified solid hardwoods to create our frames. Our techniques for shaping wood allow for the least amount of waste material.
Ebony and Dark Chocolate stained frames are hand brushed with a custom mixture of organic pigments to achieve these rich tones. Frames are sealed using a natural resin for protection and a smooth finish.

Caring for your TREEGLOO Case:
Your personalized case is the product of fine craftsmanship, which is inspected for quality and precision. Designs may have slight variances from the next, as each case is individually built-to-order. All finishes should only be cleaned with a damp cloth — do not use alcohol or ammonia based cleaners on your frame.
