THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR TREEGLOO CASE:

What is used to hold the iPad in place? link  top
Treegloo frames are accented with a lined microfiber suede, wrapped with microfiber suede or corner fitted with a natural rubber. The accent or wrap allows for a very positive fit, which tightly grips the iPad's full perimeter. Standard frames are fitted with natural rubber in every corner. (read more in Product Details)
Can I have my company logo or name placed in my case? link  top
Yes, as the iPad is a great presentation piece. Regardless if you need one or 1000, we can make it work for you. We offer custom inner liners and outer cover embossing. Specific inquiries about custom logo placement or larger orders can be sent to questions@treegloo.com
Wouldn't a paper liner be fragile? link  top
No. The paper we use is actually a dense, heavy cardstock reinforced with a cloth backing on the spine where the case will get the most wear. This is the same method book binders have been using for the last few hundred years. However if you would like, we do offer cloth liners in all of our available colors.
Why do you use Pine? link  top
Pine is a strong, renewable resource grown in the USA. Our pine frames are sealed with a natural resin to create a very smooth finish that seals in the wood's natural moisture to prevent cracking or splitting. In addition to being structurally sound, we find a consistent, natural wood grain is more aesthetically pleasing than laminated sheets of bamboo or plywood.
How are the frames finished? link  top
We take the time to hand sand, stain and seal each frame to give you a high-quality finish that is resistant to most environmental elements. Sealing the wood keeps the frame from drying out to prevent warping and splitting, while providing a warm and soft tactile finish that feels like fine furniture.
Why did you choose to use separate lengths of wood? link  top
Using a single piece of wood to make a tray creates a monumental amount of waste wood and takes far more energy to produce. We utilize production wood for less material waste and join the corners together using traditional carpentry techniques. The corner joint makes the frame more durable and flexible to torque in the event of being impacted. A single, carved piece is more likely to split or crack upon corner impact. The adhesive used in joining the corners is actually stronger than the wood itself.

Can it be folded back to a tilted stand for typing? link  top
